Tackle for Loss – Credits
Daniel Wichterich – Developer
Tackle for Loss is a game solo-developed by Daniel Wichterich. That means I am the only person working full-time on this game. During development, I’ve been fortunate to meet people who have contributed in meaningful ways, whether through their creative work, valuable feedback, or support. Here’s a list of those incredible contributors—a list that is still growing:
Nik Neumetzler – Key Art
Riccardo Berndt – Additional Pixel Art
BaerSerker-Art – Public Relations, Pixel Art

AI Disclosure
My game does not use generative AI in the final product. While I experimented with it during the prototyping phase to speed up development, all the content you’ll see in the game was created by real people. I believe in the value of human craftsmanship for delivering a truly unique experience. However, the texts of Tackle for Loss have been translated with DeepL for languages other than English and German in order to make the game accessible to more people. I believe this is AI, correct?
Asset Sourcing Transparency
I use databases like itch.io to purchase pixel art assets because they allow me to support talented creators and focus my time on crafting the core experience of the game. While I understand concerns about “asset flips”, my goal is to combine these assets in unique and meaningful ways that serve the game’s vision.
